Born in Chile, trained at the Professional Institute of Art and Communication and at the Photo-Art school in Santiago, Carlos ARRIAGADA first worked for several years as an independent photographer in fashion, advertising and publishing sectors. At the same time, he has started developing his artistic vision through photography but also experimental video, and began to exhibit his work across Latin America.
In 2000's, he has decided to settle in Paris and dedicate himself fully to his art as an author, favoring a minimalist and intimate approach to reveal the beauty hidden in our daily world.
Carlos' works have been presented in many individual as collective exhibitions in galleries and museums, including : Diego Rivera Museum (Mexico City), Museum of Contemporary Art (Santiago de Chile), Pierre Verger Gallery (Bahia - Brazil), Ziewood Gallery ( Buenos Aires - Argentina), Le Musée Privé Gallery ( Paris - France ), Nuts Gallery ( Paris - France), International Festival of Latin American Photography (Paris - France), etc.
